Join Central Victorian Regenerative Farmers for a special “Walking on Country” field trip with Barry Golding on the Smeaton Plain in southern Dja Dja Wurrung Country.
This guided afternoon will explore the recently recognised Gurutjanga / Kooroocheang Cultural Landscape, including visits to privately owned Kooroocheang Falls, old growth red gums, and remnant volcanic grasslands. Participants will gain insight into the cultural and ecological significance of the area before European settlement, and learn more about protecting and regenerating native species and First Nations sites.
